美国企业裁员增加13.5% 首次低于去年同期

国际知名人力资源机构Challenger, Gray and Christmas Inc. 6日公布，2013年10月份美国企业宣告裁员人数较前月(40,289人)增加13.5%至45,730人；与去年同期(47,724人)相比，10月份企业宣告裁员人数年减4.2%，为5个月来首次低于去年同期。
今年1-10月，美国企业宣告裁员人数为433,114人，大致与去年同期持平，仅略减0.14%。若保持现行趋势，今年年度宣告裁员总数将略低于2012年的523,362人。
以产业别而言，制药业裁员最多，宣告裁撤10,585人，创该产业2011年7月以来的单月裁员新高。
裁员次多的为金融业，宣告裁撤8,717人，为该产业2月以来最高的单月裁员人数。今年以来，金融业宣告裁员人数高居各产业之冠，达57,591人，比裁员人数次多的健保产业多砍了将近1万人。
Challenger, Gray and Christmas执行长John Challenger指出，银行业精简人力，主因经济改善。随着问题房贷和丧失赎回权(foreclosure)案件减少，美国银行等业者都大砍房贷部门人员。除此之外，景气转好、利率上扬，也抑制了再融资的需求。
