全球经济改善 原油期货下跌

纽约商业交易所（NYMEX）11月原油期货10月11日下跌0.99美元或1%成为每桶102.02美元，欧洲ICE期货交易所（ICE Futures Europe）11月布兰特原油收低0.5美元或0.45%成为每桶111.28美元。两者的价差由前一交易日的8.77美元扩大至9.26美元。周线NYMEX原油下跌1.8%，布兰特原油上涨1.7%。
国际能源署（IEA）10月11日在月报当中将2013年全球石油日均需求预估较前月上调9万桶至9,100万桶，主要受到总体经济情况改善的影响，此较上年度将增加100万桶或1.1%，2014年全球石油需求则预估将增长每日110万桶。IEA表示，9月份受到石油输出国组织（OPEC）产量减少的影响，全球石油日均供应量减少62.5万桶至9,112万桶，并预估今年非OPEC国家石油产量将年增每日110万桶至5,470万桶，2014年将续增每日170万桶。
IEA指出，9月份OPEC原油日产量减少64.5万桶至2,999万桶，为两年以来月度的平均日产量首度跌破三千万桶，主要受到利比亚与伊拉克产量减少的影响，沙乌地阿拉伯日均产量则是连续第三个月超过千万桶。今年第四季，全球对OPEC原油的需求较前月预估上调10万桶至日均2,960万桶。
IEA表示，美国液体燃料产量已经连续两个季度超过千万桶，并预估至2014年第二季，美国将超过俄罗斯成为OPEC以外的最大液体燃料生产国。IEA预估，2014年美国液体燃料日均产量将达1,100万桶，超过俄罗斯的1,086万桶。而根据美国能源部报告，2012年，包括原油、气液油、凝析油、非传统石油，以及生质燃料等所有液体燃料产量，沙乌地阿拉伯仍为最大生产国，美国居次，俄罗斯则位居第三。
EIA最新周报表示，根据Bentek Energy Services的估计，截至10月4日当周，美国天然气消费量较前周增加3.3%至日均565亿立方英尺；其中天然气发电需求增加3%，住宅与商业的天然气消费也增加3.1%。根据EIA的报告，美国天然气发电需求占整体天然气需求的32%比重。10月4日当周天然气供应量较前周减少2.1%，其中国内产量与来自加拿大的进口量均减少每日7亿立方英尺。
