原油价格下跌 因热带暴风迫停生产商

纽约商业交易所（NYMEX）11月原油期货10月3日下跌0.79美元或0.8%成为每桶103.31美元，欧洲ICE期货交易所（ICE Futures Europe）11月布兰特原油收低0.19美元或0.2%成为每桶109.00美元。两者的价差由前一交易日的5.09美元扩大至5.69美元。
在墨西哥湾地区，热带暴风凯伦（Karen）形成，迫使生产商停止部分油气生产活动，并可能会在周末（10月5-6日）形成热带飓风。Tradition Energy分析师Gene McGillian认为，热带风暴凯伦可能会因洪水而导致墨西哥湾沿岸的炼油作业停止。
截至9月27日当周，美国炼油厂日均原油加工量较前周减少14.6万桶至1,540万桶，炼油厂产能利用率较前周90.3%下滑至89.0%。汽油日均产量较前周900万桶减少至890万桶，蒸馏油日均产量较前周480万桶增加至490万桶。上周原油日均进口量为840万桶，较前周增加43.8万桶；过去4周的原油进口日均量为800万桶，较去年同期减少6.5%。上周汽油日均进口量为55.9万桶，蒸馏油日均进口量为8.5万桶。
作为需求的指标，美国过去4周日均油品供应量为1,900万桶，较去年同期增加3.8%。其中，汽油日均供应量年增0.8%至880万桶，蒸馏油日均供应量年增1.6%至370万桶，航空燃油日均供应量年增3.7%。截至9月27日当周，美国原油日均产量为778.4万桶，前周为777.7万桶，去年同期为652万桶；过去四周原油日均产量为778.3万桶，去年同期为620.8万桶。
国际能源署（IEA）10月2日发布《东南亚能源展望》报告指出，该区的原油日均需求预估将从目前的440万桶（占基本能源消费37%比重），增加至2020年的540万桶，以及2035年的680万桶；此也将令该区的原油进口额至2035年增加三倍达到2,400亿美元。
