高盛：奥巴马最快在10月初提名叶伦出任FED主席

zerohedge.com 24日报导,高盛(Goldman Sachs)最新报告预测美国总统欧巴马(Barack Obama)最快将在10月1-2日宣布提名美国联准会(FED)副主席叶伦(Janet Yelle;见副图)成为柏南克(Ben Bernanke)的接班人。高盛指出,欧巴马预计在10月6-12日出访亚洲,如果他没有在下周提名叶伦的话、可能就得等到10月中旬再做宣布。值得注意的是,叶伦日前才取消原订在10月1日由纽约经济俱乐部所举办的演说。
高盛认为叶伦无法顺利获得任命的机率非常低,但最终的任命投票可能会拖到2014年1月。高盛同时预期联邦公开市场操作委员会(FOMC)将在12月17-18日宣布缩减月度买债规模、金额达100亿美元。
5月1日的FOMC会议堪称是今年上半年金融界最关键的一天,因为当时它一面重申经济展望仍面临下行风险,但又首度表示将依照就业市场或通膨展望的转变调整每个月的买债额度。彭博社报导,高盛执行长Lloyd Blankfein 5月2日在Investment Company Institute(ICI)所举办的研讨会上指出,美国目前的利率环境跟1994年很像。事后来看,投资人不得不佩服Blankfein的精准发言时机以及他言谈间透露出的玄机。
Blankfein 7月26日在澳洲雪梨发表演说时指出,在未来一段相当长的时间内FED的货币政策都将会非常、非常地宽松。
