美联储减债规模或低于预期 美元贬值

美国联储会(FED)缩减买债规模幅度可能低于先前预期，使得美元17日相对于澳元、纽币走贬。嘉实XQ全球赢家系统的报价显示，截至17日纽约汇市尾盘为止澳元兑美元升值0.40%至0.9354。纽币兑美元17日升值0.81%至0.8235；盘中最高升至0.8248、创5月16日以来新高。
彭博社报导，经济学家普遍预期联邦公开市场操作委员会(FOMC)将在9月17、18日会后宣布，美国公债每个月的购买金额自450亿美元降至400亿美元、不动产抵押贷款证券(MBS)月度买债金额则维持在400亿美元不变。在上一次(9月6日)调查中，受访经济学家预估美国公债每个月的购买金额将减少100亿美元。
澳洲央行(RBA)17日公布的9月3日货币政策会议(注：隔夜现金利率维持在2.5%的历史最低点不变)纪录内容显示，与会决策官员同意不应排除进一步降息的可能性、但同时强调这并不代表降息是迫在眉睫。RBA将持续关注未来几个月的经济数据以评估调整货币政策的时间点。
AAP 18日报导，Bancorp Treasury客户顾问Peter Cavanaugh指出，新西兰是唯一宣布将在明年升息的先进国家。新西兰央行12日将官方现金利率维持在史上最低的2.50%不变。新西兰央行总裁Graeme Wheeler表示，明年恐需采取升息措施。
欧洲经济研究中心(ZEW)公布，9月份德国投资人、分析师预期指数由8月的42上扬至49.6、创2010年4月以来新高。欧元兑美元17日升值0.14%至1.3356。欧元兑日圆升值0.21%至132.40。
