低通胀令美联储9月收缩购债计划变数加大

上周五公布的消费数据显示，7月份美国通胀压力依然温和。赞成美联储维持现有购债规模的官员认为，温和的通胀压力表明经济依旧疲软，不应在当下收缩刺激措施。
美国商务部(Commerce Department)公布的数据显示，7月份总体个人消费支出价格指数(PCE)以及剔除食品和能源价格的核心PCE均较上月上升0.1%，升幅低于6月份水平。总体PCE较上年同期上1.4%，核心PCE较上年同期上升1.2%。美联储倾向于用这个指标来评估通胀水平。
到目前为止，核心PCE的同比升幅已连续四个月保持在1.2%，远低于美联储设置的2%的通胀目标。自4月份以来，总体PCE的同比升幅逐步提高，但也仍低于美联储2%的目标。
