通胀温和黄金多头大翻身，关注PPI与初请
周四（8月12日）亚洲时段，现货黄金持稳于1752附近。周三（8月11日）金价大幅上涨逾1%，因温和的美国消费者物价数据拖累了美元下跌，且缓解了市场对美联储即将缩减购债的担忧，不过股市上涨限制了金价的涨势。日内重点关注美国7月PPI及初请数据。
美国7月消费者价格上涨速度出现缓和
美国7月消费者价格涨幅有所放缓，但在物价上涨打击消费者信心并推动政策辩论之际，这种放缓未能完全消除成本上涨带来的压力。
劳工部周三公布的数据显示，美国7月消费者价格指数(CPI)环比上涨0.5%，同比上涨5.4%。扣除食品和能源成本的核心CPI环比上涨0.3%，同比上涨4.3%。
在供应受制约和需求激增情况下，成本压力上升的企业正提高商品和服务价格。包括原材料短缺、运输瓶颈和招聘困难在内的挑战挥之不去，可能在未来数月继续构成更广泛的价格上行压力。
经济学家预估中值显示，CPI料环比上升0.5%，同比上升5.3%。
数据发布后，美国国债收复失地，美元扩大跌幅，标普500指数期货触及盘中高位。
美元高位下跌
美元周三高位下跌，此前美国数据显示，7月消费者价格升势有所放缓，在一定程度上减轻了美联储开始放慢月度购债步伐的压力。
盘中稍早，美元一度触及93.19，为4月1日以来最高，距离2021年迄今高位93.43不远，但在美国通胀数据公布后遭到抛售。
BK Asset Management董事总经理Kathy Lien表示：“CPI报告足以为美元带来一些获利了结，但归根结底，这并不能改变美联储的立场，他们仍将宣布缩减资产购买计划，”很可能在接下来的六周内发生。
与此同时，欧洲的投资者信心正在减弱，一项调查显示，德国8月投资者信心连续第三个月恶化，因忧心新冠感染上升，第四波疫情可能会压制这个欧洲最大经济体的复苏。
大田环球分析师表示，“当全球各地疫情仍然十分明显的时候，投资者必须考虑美联储缩减刺激消息成真的可能性。“她补充称，“其后果可能是美元走强，”特别是如果欧元跌破2021年的低位。
