虽然经济从疫情中强劲复苏可能会促使美联储主席鲍威尔和他的同事们在2023年提高利率，但这种加息前景不会出现在他们本周的预测中。经济学家预计，美联储周三公布的预测将显示到2023年底利率都将维持在零或接近零的水平。
分析师表示，美联储本周的会议“将是黄金市场的重要驱动力，鲍威尔及其团队展现强烈鸽派意图可能会降低美国国债收益率，并推高金价。
