10月15日，英镑兑美元刷新近两周的新低点，由于疫情激增，欧洲多国实现宵禁，这一决定也让全球投资者担心拖累经济复苏，加上投资者对美国大选前通过刺激方案的预期也在不断消褪，避险情绪迅速升温。
据新华社15日消息，法国总统马克龙14日晚宣布，将从17日起在法兰西岛大区(大巴黎地区)和其他8个大城市实施宵禁，以遏制新冠疫情。马克龙表示，宵禁将从17日开始实施，为期4周，时间为每日21时至次日6时。除巴黎外，里尔、里昂、图卢兹等城市也将受到这一措施影响。违反宵禁规定者将被处以135欧元罚款。
荷兰国家公共卫生与环境研究所14日发布的最新数据显示，荷兰在过去24小时新增新冠肺炎确诊病例7305例，已连续两日单日新增病例数超过7300例。自新冠疫情暴发以来，荷兰累计确诊病例数已超196000例。当前，荷兰单日新增感染人数最多的三个城市是阿姆斯特丹、鹿特丹和海牙，分别为639例、560例和325例。从14日开始，荷兰开始实施为期至少4周的“局部封城”。在此期间，全国范围内所有餐馆、咖啡厅和酒吧将关闭；禁止在20时以后出售酒类产品以及在公共场所饮酒。

美国大选方面，分析认为，目前随着拜登胜选概率的持续上升，市场已经开始演绎其当选的逻辑，包括第二轮疫情救助方案推出，加大财政刺激，以及发起科技股反垄断调查和利率回升等主要政策或预期，整体风险资产受益，美债或面临一定调整压力。此外需要强调的是，当下美国大选仍未尘埃落定，而全球疫情仍在持续恶化，与此同时英国硬脱欧风险仍不容忽视，后续需要警惕资产价格的波动风险。
欧元方面，华侨银行外汇策略师Terence Wu认为，欧元兑美元将跌至1.17，欧元区新冠病毒病例不断增加，促使整个欧洲大陆出台更多限制措施，而美国的财政刺激谈判进展缓慢，汇价对这些发展作出回应，似乎已经在1.1830水平见顶。
