初请失业金人数增幅超预期，金价短线上涨

在5月14日晚，美国公布了市场较为关注的5月9日当周初请失业金人数情况，数据增长幅度超出市场预期，并在数据公布后，现货黄金出现小幅度上涨，美元指数则持续承压。
具体数据显示，美国截至5月9日当周初请失业金人数实际公布298.10万，预期值250万，前值316.9万。
美国至5月9日当周初请失业金人数录得298.1万人，为连续第六周下降；当周续请失业金人数续刷历史新高。据外媒报道，美国上周初请失业金人数增加298.1万人，高于预期，自疫情大流行开始以来，已有3600多万人申请失业金。
从近期初请数据来看，美国就业市场的真实情况依然十分糟糕。就业人数的减少，从行业上看，商品生产部门，其中采矿业、建筑业和制造业减少幅度约为10%。服务业是此次疫情冲击的重灾区，其中，批发业、零售业、运输仓储业、公用事业、信息业、金融都不同程度减少，而休闲和酒店业就业人数大幅度减少接近50%，该行业受到疫情冲击最为严重。
美国近期公布的数据也显现出疫情的冲击，美国一季度GDP下跌4.8％，最长经济扩张周期正式结束；美制造业和服务业PMI数据均不断刷新历史新低，供需两端陷入深度衰退，美私人和企业投资均大幅下降，通胀指标亦因疫情和原油价格战而大幅回落等。
美国政府高官警告称，未来几个月美国就业状况可能大幅恶化，失业率可能攀升至25%。美国财政部长努钦承认失业率未来可能会攀升至25%，报告的数字可能会变得更糟，然后在今年下半年和2021年有所改善。
在是否重启经济方面，美国政府面临两难局面。努钦称，不重新开放经济危害巨大，将对美国经济造成永久性的损伤。但美国卫生专家警告重启经济的步调不能太快，随着经济重启人群再次聚焦，新冠疫情有可能卷土重来。
