美國1月製造業資料好于預期，金價短線下挫

2月3日，美國公佈了市場重點關注的1月份ISM製造業資料，而資料的結果好於市場預期，對美元產生了較為明顯的提振，而現貨黃金也出現的下行，短線下挫6美元。
與美國ISM製造業資料同時公佈的還有美國營建支出資料，具體資料顯示，美國12月營建支出月率實際公佈-0.20%，預期0.5%，前值0.6%。
美國12月營建支出意外下滑，為自6月以來首度下降，主要因私營及公共項目的投資雙雙減少。2019年全年，美國營建支出減少0.3%，為自2011年以來首度下降。受非居住性營建支出下降的拖累，12月私人營建項目支出減少0.1%，刷新2018年11月以來最低水準。受貿易緊張態勢及能源產品價格下降的影響，美國製造業低迷，私人非住宅營建支出受到抑制。
對於ISM製造業資料，本次美國ISM製造業PMI創2019年7月以來新高。美國製造業新訂單指數創2019年5月以來新高。當地時間1月30日，美國商務部長威爾伯·羅斯接受了福克斯商業頻道主持人的採訪。
羅斯表示，我並不想就疫情談論過多，美國企業需要重新審視全球供應鏈，去年中國遭受了非洲豬瘟，現在又爆發了新型冠狀病毒，這是一個不可忽視的風險因素。因此，羅斯認為中國的疫情將在一定程度上加速製造業回流美國。
分析指出，通用汽車罷工，波音等事件仍然給美國製造業帶來衝擊。通用汽車罷工案只是美國傳統製造業困境的一個縮影，波音737MAX危機則顯示美國在高端製造業方面也面臨一定考驗。美國製造業欲振乏力，面臨內外挑戰，對美國經濟的貢獻度也明顯下降。
過去三年，美國政府呼籲大力重振美國製造業，不僅通過增加稅收優惠等措施吸引美國企業海外製造回流，也對美國當前已處於優勢地位的高端製造業加強了保護。但截至目前美國製造業振興效果卻並不顯著，甚至成為美國經濟的拖累。
不過更多的分析人士認為，美國製造業陷入溫和衰退且短期內復蘇可能性都甚微。未來數月，製造業疲軟將拖累就業增長和資本支出。有分析認為，美國製造業有可能正在觸底，2020年有望出現增長。
