制造业数据表现较差，金价小幅上涨

具体数据显示，美国12月ISM制造业PMI实际公布47.20，预期49，前值48.1。其中分项，美国12月ISM制造业就业指数实际公布45.10，前值46.6。美国12月ISM制造业PMI为2009年6月以来最低。
美国制造业经历了动荡的一年，12月的表现为2009年6月以来最差。这也标志着这一数据已连续五个月下滑，逊于分析师此前的预估值。其原因是订单减少，工厂继续减产。同样，这一数据表明，美国工厂仍然受到国内商业投资萎缩、全球需求走软的桎梏。
对于美国制造业，有分析指出，目前市场预期美国经济将保持适度增长，但仍有数据显示美国制造业依旧疲软。12月利率决议上，美联储表示制造业成为了拖累美国经济的一个重要因素。尽管四季度以来全球制造业景气度整体回升，但美国自身制造业PMI短期复苏不确定性仍在。
此前周四美国方面曾公布了美国12月Markit制造业终值数据，结果该数据略微差于预期。具体数据显示，美国12月Markit制造业PMI终值实际公布52.4，预期52.5，前值52.5。
分析师指出，美国制造业继从2019年夏季的低位复苏，以2019年初以来的最好表现结束了2019年。不过，去年12月的制造业总体扩张速度仍有所放缓，仍然比前年同期水平低。这表明与2019年初的情况相比，生产商在2020年初的基础比较薄弱。
