黄金美元有望同时上涨，但美元仍需警惕风险

有分析师指出，目前市场对经济增长的乐观预期以及世界其他地区仍有着较高的利率，意味着美元依旧有着足够的动力在2020年呈上涨趋势，虽然在2019年底跌至低点，但美国经济活动仍在引领西方世界，美元有望进一步加强。
一个粗略的共识估计显示，经济学家预计美国经济明年将增长2%左右。与此同时，欧洲经济明年预计将增长约1%。
分析师表示，“美国经济料将稳健增长，而世界其他地区则在苦苦挣扎。2020年我仍然青睐美元。”
分析师认为，虽然美元在2020年有足够的动能升至100大关，但他预计美元不会突破这一主要阻力位。还指出，美元走强更多地与全球经济疲软有关，而与国内经济实力无关。他表示：“找到其它货币来购买变得越来越难。美国经济处于最好的位置，这对美元有利。”
全球货币市场需要看到一些更高的通胀压力。世界各国的央行都在维持极度宽松的货币政策，以刺激通货膨胀。如果价格开始上涨，那么预期就会开始转向收紧货币政策。然而这种情况仍有很长的路要走。
尽管美元一直是黄金的主要不利因素，但随着2019年金价在美元触及两年高点之际升至6年高点，美元的影响有所减弱。
许多大宗商品分析师指出，由于不确定性预计将成为金融市场的主旋律，黄金和美元可能同时上涨。
其他大宗商品分析师指出，在全球近70%的政府债券都处于负值的环境下，不管外汇市场上发生了什么，黄金都成了宝贵的避险选择。
