12月12日,现货黄金价格维稳,美元指数下滑,美联储升息次数减少的预期,贸易局势好转,对美元指数形成打压。而英镑的大幅反弹也进一步打压了美元,有消息称,英国首相有望赢的保守党的不信任投票,脱欧前景避免恶化。
美指上日创下11月13日以来新高至97.545,因美国长期公债收益率从三个月低点反弹,令美元获得提振。美国与其他国家仍存在相对利差优势,因此为美元指数提供一些支撑。
而美联储近日即将召开会议,料将宣布今年的第四度升息,但市场焦点在于明年可能进一步升息的幅度。
本周初10年期美债收益率跌至三个月低点2.825%,美联储官员的鸽派评论和低迷的美国数据,进一步强化了政策紧缩周期将放缓的观点。
特朗普在白宫椭圆形办公室接受采访时说:“如果我认为它对国家有利,如果我认为它对达成有史以来规模最大的贸易协议有利,这至关重要——对国家安全有利——我肯定会在认为必要的时候干预的。”
外交部发言人陆慷在周三的例行记者招待会上对此作出回应称:“我们在向加拿大方面提出严正交涉的同时,也向美国方面提出严正交涉。美国政府对中方在这件事上的立场非常清楚。”

鉴于首相特雷莎·梅的政治命运并没有外界想象得那样糟糕,英国脱欧进程看似也有了重新好转的可能,英镑空头获得了大力回补的绝佳机会,黄金在美元转跌的情况下得了便宜。
