意大利危机仍在，再添欧元空头事件

在意大利预算难题尚未结局的困境下，德国总理默克尔在地方选举中表现糟糕，作为欧元区经济的引擎，德国政局的不稳无疑将加剧欧元承受下行压力。
据德国焦点周刊报道，德国总理默克尔在当前任期期满后将不会寻求连任，此前基民盟在地方选举中盟友惨败。初步结果显示，社民党在法兰克福所在的黑森州周日收获二战以来最糟糕的选举结果，支持率滑落至第三，被势头猛升的绿党甩在身后，这让在3月份与基民盟结盟时本就不情不愿的社民党萌生退出联盟的念头。
此外欧元区经济数据近来接连令人失望，但是欧洲央行行长德拉基很大程度上对此不以为意，认为这是2017年经济出色表现后的回撤，加上一些暂时性因素使然。
欧元区统计局即将发布三季度GDP初值(将于10月30日公布)，意大利和法国的相关数据届时也将公布。同天发布的经济信心指数，若是有所反映的话，或许会表明贸易紧张局势及金融市场动荡对企业和家庭的态度产生了怎样的影响。
荷兰国际集团(ING)认为欧元兑美元仍承受下行压力，因意大利政府难以在预算问题上做出妥协，意大利政府的立场似乎仍未变，意大利副总理兼内政部长萨尔维尼和“五星运动党”党首马约均强调不愿转变当前的预算草案，由于欧元区系列前瞻性指标表现更显温和，本周唯一可能提振欧元的因素将为较强劲的GDP及通胀数据。
