美元于94关口上方艰难反弹，但周线已连续第三周下跌，新兴市场抛售信号，美债收益率曲线倒挂的可能性及美国贸易逆差的扩大均可能逐步蚕食前期涨幅，4月以来的一路向北之势恐难再现。
美元指数结束此前四个交易日的连跌之势，于94关口上方小幅反弹，土耳其里拉的再度下跌导致部分避险资本流入美元，为汇价提供支撑，不过据Fx678观察，从周线来看，美元指已为连续第三周走软。
本周初美国与墨西哥达成双边协议，点燃了市场的乐观预期，对此该行表示理解，不过出于多个原因考虑仍应维持谨慎立场，中美贸易紧张局势仍需密切关注。
美国与墨西哥间的贸易协议没有为中美贸易争端的发展方向提供指引，上周举行的中美贸易谈判没有取得突破性进展，中美两国还对彼此新一批商品加征了同等规模的关税。
值得注意的是，缓和全球贸易紧张局势之路仍道阻且艰，虽然墨西哥新当选总统安德烈斯·曼努埃尔·洛佩斯·奥夫拉多尔拥护相关贸易协议，但获批仍需等到11月6日美国国会中期选举后，此外美国与加拿大仍在进行谈判，相关不确定性高企，因此将对进一步美元卖盘表示谨。
土耳其里拉兑美元继续下跌，跌至两周多来的最低水平。由于美国与土耳其的关系持续恶化，以及市场对土耳其总统埃尔多安不断加强外汇管制和经济控制感到担忧，今年以来，土耳其里拉对美元已贬值约38%，8月中旬暴跌至历史新低。
