核试验场200人死亡，朝鲜核试验暂停
据朝日电视台报道，朝鲜核试验场10月份发生的隧道坍塌，可能造成约200人死亡。此前，9月3日，金正恩政权在朝鲜东北部丰溪里附近引爆了一枚地下核装置，引发了一场震级约为6.3级的地震。
据日本朝日电视台远引消息人士话语报道，朝鲜核试验场在10月份发生了的一次重大隧道坍塌事故，可能造成约200人死亡。这意味着该处设施近期将处于不可用状态，而朝鲜方面的地下核试验活动也会被迫暂停相当一段时间。
此前，9月3日，金正恩政权在朝鲜东北部丰溪里(punggye – ri)地下核试验场引爆了据称为氢弹的核装置，引发了一场震级约为6.3级的人工地震，震感远至中国。
此后，该处设施在9月下旬再度发生震源深度为0的“地震”，令外界怀疑该国再度进行核试爆，但朝鲜方面却没有“认领”这一事件，国际地震探测机构也将此判定为“自然原因”。而后，专家倾向将此事认定为核爆炸破坏了当地地层结构，造成垮塌。
据消息人士透露，在10月10日左右发生的坍塌事故中，约有100人在塌陷的隧道中被困，其他人则在救援行动中引发的二度坍塌中被困。
而在之前，就有专家警告过，如果朝鲜在距离中国边界仅80公里的核试验场进行更多核试验的话，那么当地山区可能会发生灾难性的内陷坍塌。科学家也担心，放射性废料可能会从坑道上的裂缝中流出，并会被吹到中国境内。
但核试验设施受损难以使用的状况却似乎无法阻挡朝鲜继续拥核的脚步。朝鲜外交部长李英浩(Ri Yong Ho)上月表示，朝鲜可能会考虑在与美国的紧张关系不断升级的情况下，在太平洋上空对氢弹进行一次最强力的试爆。此举一旦属实将是冒天下之大不韪，因为国际反核武器扩散条约，则早已明令禁止任何国家在公海或者南极大陆这样的国际公地上进行核试爆活动。
