西班牙爆发内乱
在周日举行了充满的争议的“独立”公投之后，西班牙东北部加泰罗尼亚自治区陷入了持续动荡之中。独立运动的支持者周二(10月3日)在当地最大城市巴塞罗那市内举行了全面大罢工。
国王在讲话中斥责称，发起独立公投的加泰罗尼亚当地领导人“藐视”了国家的权威，并破坏了民主与法治的基本原则。国王表示，如今，西班牙社会已经发生了撕裂，而他不无担忧地警告称，这场非法的公投不光令加泰罗尼亚这一富裕的经济重镇，也令整个西班牙都陷入了危险境地。而加泰罗尼亚当局视法律与民主规则于不顾，试度破坏西班牙民族团结与国家主权，他们理应尽早悬崖勒马。

而就在国王讲话的同时，独立分子在巴塞罗那街头设置了路障，数十万民众举行总罢工，走上街头抗议警方在周日公投当天所采取的单方面暴力行动。据加泰罗尼亚方面透露，在公投日当天，有近900名选民在参与投票过程中与效忠马德里的警察发生冲突并受伤。
而事与愿违的则是，国王的强硬回应讲话，反而强化了加泰罗尼亚地区领导人谋求独立的决心。当天，在接受英国媒体采访时，加泰罗尼亚自治区主席普伊德蒙特(Carles Puidemont)表示，会在“数天以内”就正式宣布独立。在公投后首次接受采访时，普伊德蒙特称，会在本周末至下周初就采取“关键性行动”。
而在被问及一旦西班牙中央政府试图干预被控制加泰罗尼亚自治政府时，该如何应对时，普伊德蒙特称：一旦如此，这将是对方所能犯下的“最糟糕的错误”，将令他们因此永久性地彻底失去加泰罗尼亚地区的民心。
而周二当天，已经有多达70万巴塞罗那市民走上街头声援独立运动，市内被设置下的50余处路障也引发了全城大堵车。巴塞罗那地铁仅在高峰时段维持25%的运力，其他时间则完全停驶。而该市重要的港口设施目前也已陷入停摆。同时，该市多处旅游景点同样关门谢客。
而业内机构指出，如果事情走到上面那一步，对于欧元区市场风险情绪来说就将是加倍的利空。花旗银行的分析师更是强调，巴塞罗那和马德里双方互不让步激化矛盾的状况，可能会进一步演变为持续的暴力冲突，而如果当地安全力量投靠加泰罗尼亚独立当局，与效忠马德里的军警发生正面冲突，局势前景就更加难以想象。
