上半年黄金ETF增仓579吨
黄金投资热仍在持续。报告显示，2016年全球黄金投资需求突破1000吨大关，达到了1064吨，比2009年上半年的投资需求高点还高出16%。其中，2016年上半年全球黄金ETF总持仓量大增579吨，这就意味着上半年全球黄金投资需求的近55%都集中在了黄金ETF身上。
来自国内黄金ETF数据显示，2016年下半年以来黄金投资需求仍然很强。易方达黄金ETF（159934）8月16日规模上升到19亿元，2016年上半年末规模为9.6亿元，一个多月时间规模增长了近一倍。同时，易方达黄金ETF还对应了一只目前管理规模国内最大的黄金ETF联接，该基金6月底资产规模为7.6亿元。易方达黄金ETF及联接基金经理林伟斌表示，在国内投资黄金，还可以规避人民币汇率波动的风险。黄金的国际定价以美元为基准，人民币兑美元波动时，以人民币计价的黄金价格涨幅会不同于以美元计价的黄金价格。例如，去年汇改至今一周年期间，以美元计价的黄金价格涨幅约22%，易方达黄金ETF同期涨幅达到了28.38%。
