英国5月CBI工业订单差值好于预期
5月20日，英国统计局公布了英国5月CBI工业订单差值，数据显示英国5月CBI工业订单差值为-8，好于预期的-13，前值为-11。
其中，英国5月CBI工业出口订单差值为-14，低于预期的-13，前值为-13。
英国5月CBI工业产出预期差值为20，好于预期的17，前值为17。
英国5月CBI工业物价预期差值为2，低于预期的4，前值为4。
CBI首席经济学家Rain Newton-Smith认为：“总体上看，英国制造业的情况似乎有些许好转，因订单与此前数月相比有所改善。”
同时，Newton-Smith还指出，英国5月CBI工业订单差值录得自去年年底以来的最快增速，产出也录得自8月以来最快增速。数据显示英国国内和全球不确定性依旧很高，出口需求也疲软。
“欧盟实施的是温和扩张的财政政策，应保持这种步伐，”他表示 。
数据公布后，英镑兑美元表现平淡，小幅下跌0.31%，报1.46。
