加拿大央行如约按兵不动
加拿大央行周三决定维持利率不变，称如果没有新上台的自由党政府实施财政刺激措施带来的提振，全球经济成长放缓、对加拿大“没有那么有利”的美国经济前景，以及企业投资萎缩可能拉低了经济前景。
加拿大央行指出，在能源业长期下滑的情况下，政府3月预算案中宣布的支出计划是唯一一个带动经济成长的积极因素。尽管上调了今年经济成长预估，但央行这份备受关注的季度货币政策报告的基点仍然鸽派。
一如市场普遍预期，加拿大央行将隔夜利率维持在0.5%，自去年7月以来该利率一直保持不变，央行称通胀风险大致均衡。
央行指出，预计产出缺口可能在2017年下半年消失，“略早于”1月货币政策报告中预计的2017年底，因包括基建投资和针对许多家庭新的儿童福利等财政刺激措施提振了经济成长。央行还下修了潜在产出。
加拿大央行表示，尽管加拿大最大的贸易伙伴－美国经济在年初表现疲弱后会重拾动能，但经济复苏的状况和组成对加拿大出口“的有利程度有所降低”，且全球经济成长会较1月预估的疲弱。
央行称，近期加元走强也令出口承压，央行将意外强劲的首季经济成长归因于一些暂时性因素，这些因素可能在第二季扭转。
加拿大央行将首季年化增长率从1.0%上调至2.8%；将第二季增长率从2.2%下调至1.0%；预计2016年平均增长1.7%，高于之前预估的1.4%；预计2017年增长2.3%，之前预估为2.4%。
加拿大央行利率决议对加元走势影响有限，美元/加元最高触及1.2819，最低触及1.2748。
