美股创年内新高
耶伦称美联储的加息步伐应更为缓慢，此番鸽派言论推动美股创下2016年新高，美元降至五个月低位。周三，标普收涨0.44%，道指收涨0.47%，纳指收涨0.47%。富时泛欧绩优300指数收涨1.29%。
美联储主席耶伦周二在纽约经济俱乐部发表讲话，称受中国经济增速放缓和油价暴跌影响，全球经济和金融市场的不确定性增加，这令美国经济面临的风险增加，因此美联储应更缓慢地进行加息。耶伦对于美国进一步加息前景极为谨慎的立场，与近期一些美联储官员较为鹰派的言论形成鲜明对比。
截至周三收盘，标普500指数收涨8.94点，涨幅0.44%，报2063.95点。道琼斯工业平均指数收涨83.55点，涨幅0.47%，报17716.66点。纳斯达克综合指数收涨22.67点，涨幅0.47%，报4869.29点。
有恐慌指数之称的芝加哥期权交易所（CBOE）波动性指数（VIX）下降1.9%，至13.56，持续走低于20的长期平均水平。
亚洲市场普遍上涨。上证综指收报3000.64点，上涨2.77%，创一个月最大单日涨幅。深成指收报10445.69点，上涨3.48%。创业板指收报2248.78点，大涨4.47%。香港恒生指数收盘上涨2.2%，报20803.39点。日经225指数下跌1.31%，报16878.96点。
欧洲股市受矿业板块涨幅提振，富时泛欧绩优300指数收涨1.3%，报1340.41点。德国DAX 30指数收涨1.60%，报10046.61点，为1月6日以来首次收于10000点整数位心理关口上方。法国和英国股市亦分别收涨1.78%和1.59%。
