经过俄罗斯和委内瑞拉的努力，市场对各产油国协议减产达成的预期再次升温，促使了隔夜油价的暴涨，并给油价提供提供支撑，不过伊朗频频“泼冷水”拖累了油价日内的表现。
伊朗石油部通讯社Shana早些时候报道称，委内瑞拉油长皮诺日前访问伊朗，与伊朗油长赞加内讨论了油价问题，并表示包括伊朗和俄罗斯在内的6个石油生产国已同意召开紧急会议。而且皮诺目前正前往卡塔尔劝说其他欧佩克产油国召开紧急会议。
委内瑞拉石油部长皮诺周四公开表示，对召开紧急会议持开放态度的国家为伊朗、伊拉克、阿尔及利亚、尼日利亚、厄瓜多尔。
皮诺还称，与卡塔尔能源部长的会面很好且“富有成效”。
英国Sky News报道称，伊拉克财长Zebari表示欧佩克“确实”在努力削减原油产量。
分析师认为，主要产油国可能召开减产会议的消息支撑了油价，另外美元的走弱也给油价提供支撑，国际油价在亚市一度上涨逾2%。
不过，伊朗官员的讲话使得原油多头信心受到打击。
周四有伊朗石油部官员称，除非达成一致行动意愿，否则产油国没有必要召开紧急会议。目前没有制定召开会议的日期，在未来数日能否达成一致取决于委内瑞拉、卡塔尔及沙特。
