全球最大原油出口国沙特昨日下调销往亚洲和美国的原油价格，销往亚洲的原油售价降幅创三年多新高。在全球需求疲软的环境下，面对其他石油输出国组织（OPEC）产油国此前降价的竞争，沙特也加入价格战。
沙特国有石油巨头沙特阿美（Saudi Arabian Oil Co.）昨日宣布，
将销往亚洲的每桶轻质原油价格下调1.7美元，经过此次调价，其出口亚洲价格与竞争对手迪拜基准油价相比由每桶溢价10美分变为折价1.6美元（低于彭博新闻社上周调查的预期折价中值1.9美元，但还是今年年内最大折扣）；
下月销往亚洲的每桶中等原油较地区基准价低3.2美元，较本月售价低1.3美元，这是2012年2月该司对销往亚洲此等级原油折价每桶2美元以来最大的折扣。
分别将销往远东和美国的每桶油价下调2美元和30美分。
《华尔街日报》报道指出，沙特阿美此举是伊朗、伊拉克等其他中东产油国上月大幅下调官方油价的对策，上月那些OPEC成员国的降幅均超过沙特。
