据中国外汇交易中心网站消息，2015年9月25日,中国外汇交易中心与芝加哥商业交易所集团签署合作协议，推动双方市场互联互通和产品创新。
这意味着中国银行间市场计划向美国投资者开放。为推动人民币进一步国际化，银行间市场有望通过交易所合作形式，逐步实现人民币利率及汇率等相关产品的互联互通。
交易中心总裁裴传智表示：“交易中心与芝商所集团的合作是中美双方拓宽金融领域务实合作的重要尝试，也是优势互补和互利共赢的合作，有利于进一步推动中美金融市场的互联互通和相互开放，更好地满足中美经济主体的利率和汇率避险需求，推动双边经贸发展，发挥金融市场支持实体经济的作用。”
芝商所集团执行董事长兼总裁Terry Duffy表示：“我们非常高兴与交易中心签署合作协议，使双方的合作关系更加紧密。这个具有创新精神的协议将拓宽双方各自市场产品的分销渠道，为市场的参与者提供更多的机会。”
芝商所集团首席执行官Phupinder Gill表示：“合作协议明确了双方合作实施计划以及双方的权利义务。对我们来说，中国是一个非常重要的市场，我们相信，与交易中心之间的深入合作将进一步巩固双方关系，更好地服务各自市场的需求。”
下一步，双方将在合作协议的基础上紧密配合、分步推进，力争使双方的三个合作目标尽快落地。
