世界最大制药商辉瑞(PFE)第二财季净盈利同比有所下滑，但调整后业绩好于市场预期，并上调了全年盈利目标。该公司当季净盈利从上年同期的29.1亿美元，合每股45美分，降至26.3亿美元，合每股42美分。不包括一次性项目在内，调整后每股盈利为56美分，高于接受汤森路透调查的分析师平均预期的52美分。
联合包裹服务公司(UPS)周二发布的财报显示，第二季度盈利好于市场预期，利润率的改善抵消了营收的小幅下滑。该公司当季净盈利从上年同期的4.54亿美元，合每股49美分，增至12.3亿美元，合每股1.35美元，高于接受FactSet调查的分析师平均预期的1.27美元。
福特汽车宣布第二财季盈利远超市场预期，得益于北美市场持续强劲的销售。该公司当季净盈利18.9亿美元，合每股47美分，高于接受汤森路透调查的分析师平均预期的37美分。营收达373亿美元，高于分析师平均预期的353.4亿美元。
