另外，为应对股市暴跌，中国人民银行(PBOC)上周六(6月27日)重拳出击，决定自2015年6月28日起有针对性地对金融机构实施定向降准，以进一步支持实体经济发展，促进结构调整。同时，自2015年6月28日起下调金融机构人民币贷款和存款基准利率，以进一步降低企业融资成本。
在亚洲市场中，数据显示，今年前4个月中国进口的黄金下降了83吨，同期上证指数几乎翻番。但这一趋势的改变或许将是非常快的，上周五(6月26日)中国股市经历了大幅下跌，使得黄金避险需求再次凸显。
由于市场担忧中国股市难以持续，作为黄金消费大国中国的黄金需求开始再度受到关注。数据显示，5月中国大陆自香港进口的黄金数量环比大增35%。
另据瑞士海关数据显示，5月中国大陆黄金进口环比增长24%，同比大增800%。
