黄金延期是上海黄金交易所上市的一种黄金投资产品，它是以保证金方式进行买卖，可以选择合约交易日当天交割，也可以延期交割，同时引入延期补偿费机制来平抑供求矛盾的一种期货交易模式。
除了延期费以外，根据上海黄金交易所交易相关规定，若投资者连续持有延期合约的时间超过金交所公告期限，金交所可以根据市场持仓情况对超期持仓加收超期费。
一、收取超期费的标准
1、黄金延期合约的持仓量超过250吨，交易所对持仓超过120天的超期持仓，按照万分之二/天的超期费率收取。
2、黄金延期合约的持仓量超过4500吨，交易所对持仓超过120天的超期持仓，按照万分之一点五/天的超期费率收取。
二、计算方法
超期费=超期持仓量×当日结算价×超期费率
例如，某投资者黄金延期合约的持仓量为300吨，持仓时间为125天，当日的结算价230元/克，那么超期费=300000000×230×2/10000=13800000元
