股票的交易时间，不像黄金市场中几乎24小时均可交易，它只能是在规定时间内参与集合竞价，进而股民的资金才能够流入到股票市场中。在集合竞价之前，股民可以通过委托挂单的形式参与，那么股票几点可以挂单呢？
一般来说，股票挂单都会接受提前挂单，如夜市委托。言外之意是，投资者可以在前一个交易日的晚上委托明天的交易挂单，具体时间为晚上的9:30之后。有的证券公司只能是当天交易的早上8:30—9:15之内才可以委托挂单。投资者可以看每一个证券公司营业部的软件设置即可知道或是直接咨询所在证券营业部的相关人员。
另外，在节假日的前一个交易日不接受挂单。主要是因为很多证券公司在节假日期间需要进行系统测试，为了防止真实数据和测试数据混淆，所以证券公司一般都不接受节假日前一个交易的提前挂单。但是可以在节假日后的第一个交易日8:30之后就可以接受相关的委托挂单。
股民的挂单不一定会一定成交，它只有符合“三优先”原则才能够通过集合竞价，进而股民的资金才能够流入到股票市场中。
挂单分为挂卖单和买单，卖单则包括卖出的要价和希望卖出的数量的具体数量；挂单有买单和卖单，买单包括买进的出价和希望买进的具体数量。提前挂单之后，在当日交易日的9：30分钟之后自动转为普通委托，进行集合竞价，成交价格遵循三个优先原则。未成交的孤单交易在收盘后自动失效，部分资金差额在当日清算后可以彻底返还。
三优先原则：
①可实现最大成交量的价格；②高于该价格的买入申报与低于该价格的卖出申报全部成交的价格；③与该价格相同的买方或卖方至少有一方全部成交的价格。
