一、SWIFT
环球银行金融电信协会，Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications，简称SWIFT，它是一个国际银行间非盈利性的国际合作组织，总部设在比利时，主要运营着世界级的金融电文网络，作为银行和其他金融机构实现与同业交换电文以完成金融交易的枢纽，为国际金融业务提供准确、高效、完善的服务。
二、SWIFT CODE
SWIFT的会员都有一个特定的地址代码，这个代码就是SWIFT CODE，它是每个SWIFT成员在申请加入SWIFT组织的银行按照统一原则制定的，一般是由电脑自动判读的八位或十一位英文字母或阿拉伯数字组成，用于在电文完成交易中区别不同的金融机构，是各会员的身份识别号。凡SWIFT会员在电汇时，只要按照对方的SWIFT CODE发送付款电文即可将款项汇至对方。
三、SWIFT CODE的组成
十一位英文字母或数字的代码可以拆分为四部分：
1、银行代码：4位英文字母组成，由银行自定
2、国家代码：2位英文字母组成，用以区分其所在国家
3、地区代码：2位英文字母或0、1以外的2位数字组成，用以区分其所在国家的地理位置
4、分行代码：3位英文字母或数字组成，用以区分某一分行、组织或部门
如：ICBKCNBJ101，ICBK代表工商银行，CN代表中国，BJ代表北京，101为分行代码
四、中国四大银行代码
中国银行：BKCHCNBJ
农业银行：ABOCCNBJ
工商银行：ICBKCNBJ
建设银行：PCBCCNBJ
某家银行的SWIFT CODE可以通过银行的工作人员、电话或SWIFT官网查询。
