2013年11月8日，鸡蛋期货在大连商品交易所上市。鸡蛋期货作为国内首个生鲜品种，其推出上市丰富了国内期货市场品种体系，并给蛋鸡业提供了规避“鸡飞蛋打”市场风险的工具。

1、鸡蛋交易合约的基本情况
通过大商所鸡蛋期货合约得知，鸡蛋期货合约的代码是JD，交易单位为5吨/手，最小变动价位是每500千克1元，合约涨跌停板幅度为上一交易日结算价的4%，最低交易保证金为合约价值的5%。合约交易月份为1、2、3、4、5、6、9、10、11、12月（不含7、8月两个最热月份）。最后交易日和交割日分别为合约月份第10个交易日和最后交易日后第2个交易日，交割方式为实物交割。
2、鸡蛋期货交易合约一手所需金额
从合约设计来看，鸡蛋期货规模适中。按鸡蛋历史最高价每公斤10.74元计算，如果期货公司将保证金率定为10%的话，鸡蛋期货每手合约所需保证金为5370元，这样规模的合约设计既不会因为合约较小而引发市场过度投机，也不会因为合约保证金需求较大而限制产业链上厂商的避险热情。

目前主力合约是JD1405，现在价格为4036元/500千克，而一手为5吨，所以合约价值为4036*2*5=40360元。合约规定最低保证金为5%，如果加上期货公司的保证金总共为7%的话，那么做一手鸡蛋期货需要的资金为40360*7%=2825.2元。
