恢复金本位有助全球经济

福布斯杂志的总编辑认为，疲软的美元对全球经济是威胁，而唯一能够阻止其下跌的就是恢复金本位制度。
近日接受采访时他说，不同的货币定价方式已经被尝试了超过4000年，过去的经历表明了应该采取金本位制度，他认为一个正确的金本位制度在货币供应中能提供稳定性和价值。恢复金本位制度是迟早的事情，但对于一个倾向于较弱美元的美国大政府，会有很多变化发生。
“疲软的货币通常意味着强势的政府和疲软的私营部门，我认为人们很期待选举，人们会在11月的中期选举中做出大的变化，因此2015会非常有趣。”
此外，美元疲软的另一大原因就是美联储。
“美联储并不了解一个稳定的美元的需求，耶伦并不比伯南克多了解多少。”不过，美联储退出QE政策是好的。
“而除非地域争端升级到失控的程度，不然金价不会有显著的上涨；还有出现一些国际危机，不然美联储停止QE以及准备好利率上升时，金价可能会承压，我认为金价要等到美联储再做什么疯狂的事情时才会有所行动。”
