印度在黄金市场中的角色

在刚刚过去的6月中，印度的黄金进口量高达14.33吨，是去年6月以来第一次超过两位数的进口量，也是13个月来最大的进口量。
虽然自2013年中国超越印度成为世界最大黄金消费国。然而，印度仍然是黄金市场主要参与者，下面来讲解一下印度在黄金市场中扮演怎样重要的角色。
一、节日、婚礼刺激黄金需求
在印度黄金与宗教文化信仰密切相关。印度人认为黄金是纯洁、繁荣和好运的象征。印度现在持有18000吨约占世界10%的黄金股。世界黄金协会表示：“在印度将黄金投资于金饰需求区分开是不合理的，它们往往是同一概念”。 超过三分之二的需求来自该国的农村人口。黄金是印度继石油后第二大进口商品。在印度黄金消费的90%来源于进口。
印度首都新德里周一黄金上涨60卢比，每10克涨至28785卢比。由于黄金海外价格相对疲软，加之印度现在为结婚旺季，这刺激了印度黄金珠宝消费需求。
二：黄金消费大国政策对金价举足轻重
黄金在印度被认为是对冲通胀和法定货币贬值的最好工具。以卢比计算，黄金自2000年以来增长了近十倍，即使在最近有所下降，它仍然是高于2000年水平的7倍。
由于印度经常项目赤字不断走高，印度央行2013年7月对黄金进口实施严格限制，导致2014年第一季度印度黄金的官方需求下降26%至190.3吨。然而限制黄金进口，为印度当局带来了意想不到的难题，走私猖獗就是其中最明显的一个。因此，政府对官方黄金的限制影响了进口量。从2013年5月到2013年9月，官方黄金进口下降了超过五倍。走私取代了进口。黄金溢价是一个很好的指示器。
三、印度6月黄金进口量
在刚刚过去的6月中，印度进口黄金14.33吨，是去年6月以来第一次超过两位数的进口量，也是13个月来最大的进口量。
去年6月印度仅进口黄金3.74吨，今年6月的14.33吨同比增长74%。印度政府为控制经常账户赤字而在去年将黄金进口关税大幅上调至10%，印度的黄金行业遭遇重创，在2013至2014财年萎缩约30%。
印度黄金行业预计新上台的莫迪政府将黄金进口关税下调2%，目前市场预计这很可能出现在下一次的政府预算案中。
