厄瓜多尔投资46万盎司黄金用作金融运作

近日，厄瓜多尔央行称，该国将其货币储备中的一部分黄金投资于高盛(Goldman Sachs)的金融运作中，以此在不影响储备价值的情况下，获取回报。
厄瓜多尔央行称，这个三年的投资项目将涉及到46.6万盎司黄金，为厄瓜多尔带来1600万到2000万美元的收益。
该国央行的一位官员在一份电邮中称：“这个项目将允许厄瓜多尔央行在不损失储备价值的情况下，利用其黄金的过剩流动性。”
央行的声明中称：“放在金库中的黄金是不会带来任何回报的，并且还有存储的费用，现在这样利用能带来收益。这一对黄金市场的干预只是一个新的长久的参与策略的开始，通过购买、销售和金融运作，这会带来新的金融投资计划。”
厄瓜多尔的黄金储备从5月16日的10.98亿美元左右下降到23日的4亿9300万美元左右。其中差别的黄金和运作于这个项目的数量差不多。
厄瓜多尔目前的储备在41亿美元左右。
该国总统科雷亚(Rafael Correa)称，该国需要金融资源来支付水力发电项目的费用，并且警告称2015年将是该国政府财政上非常困难的一年。
去年，高盛曾提出向委内瑞拉提供16.8亿美元现金，以该国18.5亿美元的黄金作为支撑。
