本年5月对冲基金持黄金空头创新高

2014年5月以来国际金价跌穿当月的横盘整理区间后，对冲基金随即大幅减少黄金市场多头押注，数据显示，基金经理把黄金多头头寸减少了24%，空头头寸则创15周以来的最高水平。5月黄金ETF持有量减少了约26亿美元，为2013年年底以来最差的一月。
富国银行(Wells Fargo)的高级国际策略师Sameer Samana说：“面对股市上涨，黄金的反应是非常偏负面的。地缘政治问题不能长期提供支撑，乌克兰危机正在缓解中，大宗商品的表现会继续走弱。”
今年5月份伦敦金行情跌幅约3.9%，标普高盛商品现货指数跌幅则为约0.4%，CFTC数据显示，5月27日当周黄金净多头下降到68393个，空头头寸增加了72%，空头增持创6个月来最多。
前花旗技术研究主管，现Technical Research的Louise Yamada认为，在负面动能的作用下，金价到年底将跌到1200美元/盎司。
Sica Wealth Management的Jeff Sica认为，对经济变好的预期是被错置了的。“第一季度是很糟糕的，股市显示出对经济太多的乐观，”Sica说，“黄金会重新成为受欢迎的资产之一，因为人们会需要它来对冲经济放缓。”
U.S. Bank Wealth Management的Jim Russle说：“黄金会继续下跌，大部分商品则因为供应充足而价格上升有限。”
