黄金国际板将使上海成为全球黄金中心

上海黄金交易所新闻发言人顾文硕上近日对媒体确认，中国人民银行日前已正式批准上海黄金交易所(SGE)开设国际板业务。这被认为将挑战伦敦和纽约在黄金贸易和定价中的地位。
另有消息称，SGE将发布三个以人民币计价的实物黄金合约，分别为100克、1公斤和12.5公斤的金条。
目前，伦敦为现货黄金定价，而纽约则是黄金期货的基准价。SGE的价格则通过对国际金价的贴水来衡量中国的黄金需求。
今年早些时候，曾有消息称中国工商银行和其收购目标标准银行曾表达了对购买德意志银行(Deutsche Bank)在伦敦黄金定盘价席位的兴趣，但目前据消息人士透露，“这一兴趣已经不复存在。”
实物需求在黄金的价格走向中一直无法起到比较大的作用，随着国际版的推出，中国巨大的实物需求将开始有更大的影响。
SGE是全球最大的实物交易中心，据汤普森路透(Thomson Reuters GFMS)数据显示，2013年其直接和延期交割量达到10000吨。上海期货交易所则拥有全球第二多的黄金期货合约，去年交易量达41176吨。
世界黄金协会(WGC)的远东区总经理Albert Cheng说：“国际版将成为全球非常重要的交易平台，上海将成为纽约和伦敦之后全球三大黄金中心之一。”
