瑞士在全球黄金市场中的地位

据IMF最新数据，瑞士是世界上黄金的第七大官方持有国，储备量为1040吨，但是考虑到瑞士只有800万人，等于人均有130克黄金，是世界第一大黄金储备国美国的5倍。
瑞士过去的宪法有规定，货币必须由40%的黄金储备作为后盾。尽管该法令已经取消，但是自那时起，黄金和瑞郎的联系仍然深入到瑞郎投资者的脑海中。
因此，瑞郎和黄金有极高的正相关系数。黄金的价格上涨，瑞郎很可能也会上涨。
此外，由于瑞士政治中立性，瑞郎被视为世界上首要的安全避险货币。当全球处于不稳定或不明朗的时候，投资者通常需要更关心资本的保值，而非资本的增值，加之黄金被视为货币的最终形态，黄金和瑞郎都会从中受益。
瑞士还是全球最大的黄金精炼基地。全球超过70%的黄金都在瑞士精炼、加工，而世界上最大的5个黄金炼厂都在瑞士。
