印央行前行长：无理由再限制黄金进口

黄金与白银进口量的减少使得印度的贸易差额从1903.3亿美元下降到了1385.9亿美元。印度央行前行长Bimal Jalan称，由于目前伦敦金行情价格处于低水平，如果近期印度黄金进口增加20%到25%的话，那并不会影响印度的经常账户赤字。
印度的黄金进口量从2013年5月的77亿美元下降到今年1月的14亿美元，很显然，政府已经感觉没有必要继续限制黄金进口，而且黄金进口的限制被认为对印度出口减少也有影响。印度金饰出口较2013年4月下降45.6%至今年2月的63.5亿美元。而今年2月印度珠宝出口31.4亿美元，同比下降8.2%。至今年2月的11个月中，出口减少9.9%至308.2亿美元。
印度今年2月白银首饰出口同比上涨45.33%至8亿4100万美元，在至2月的11个月中同比上涨89%至13.5亿美元。
