巴克莱:预计中国今年黄金消费增长放缓

Scrap Register》2月24日报导,巴克莱(Barclays)报告预计中国大陆今年黄金消费的增长速度将会放缓,但整体消费仍将保持强劲。根据世界黄金协会(World Gold Council)的报告,大陆去年黄金首饰、金币/金条需求分别年增29%、38%,使其超越印度成为全球最大黄金消费国,大陆去年黄金整体需求量年增32%至创纪录的1,066公吨。中国黄金协会统计数据则显示,2013年大陆黄金消费量首次突破1,000吨,达到1,176.40吨、年增41.36%。其中,首饰用金716. 50吨、年增42.52%;金条用金375.73吨、年增56.57%;金币用金25.03吨、年减1.07%;工业用金48.74吨、年减0.23%;其他用金10.40吨、年减32.03%。巴克莱报告指出,去年金饰加工以及销售的增长令企业提高了黄金的库存量,这将会使得今年的消费增长放缓;但金饰的需求仍将保持相当强劲的增长力道,根据世界黄金协会的一项调查,有44%的受访者表示今年将会提高金饰的消费支出。
香港金银业贸易场理事长张德熙预估,今年下半年金价或升至1,500美元以上,令消费需求放缓,但全年仍将有两位数增幅。张德熙也认为大陆央行未来1-2年还会逐步吸纳黄金储备,因设立离岸人民币中心后,大陆需要加大黄金储备支持人民币国际化,至少要有5,000吨以上的黄金储备才算合理水平。GoldMoney研究主管Alasdair Macleod认为大陆增加黄金储备还与地缘政治有关,因通过上海合作组织,大陆和俄罗斯正在建立一个经济集团,而这个经济集团有一个共同特征–黄金,几乎所有的上海合作组织国家均在增加储备黄金。上海合作组织2001年6月15日在上海成立,成员国为中国大陆、俄罗斯、哈萨克斯坦、吉尔吉斯、塔吉克和乌兹别克。
