印度成功降低CAD 邻国黄金走私大增

印度政府在对黄金进口进行限制后，成功的将该国的经常账户赤字(CAD)降低，然而对印度的邻国们来说，这却并不是什么好消息。
据称，斯里兰卡、孟加拉和巴基斯坦等国的海关都宣称黄金走私数量大增，这些国家成了黄金非法走私进运动的通道。他们也在寻求和印度一样控制CAD的方法。
“印度和这些国家的海关间有非正式的会议，他们都在寻求印度的建议来控制走私和CAD。”
为解决这一问题，斯里兰卡第一次将黄金进口关税调高至了10%，巴基斯坦则在六个月中第二次临时禁止黄金进口。
过去几个月孟加拉查获了超过300公斤的走私黄金，大部分是要被走私到印度的。此外，除了黄金走私的问题，巴基斯坦面临着CAD的扩大，2014财年前7个月涨至20亿美元，和2012至2013年同期的4亿4100万比，上升巨大。
