金价下跌 纽蒙特矿业公司第四季亏损

美国最大金矿商纽蒙特矿业公司（Newmont Mining Corporation）2月20日公布，2013年第四季营收年减12%至21.7亿美元，主要受到金价下跌的影响，第四季净损11.7亿美元，主要因提列资产减记的影响；扣除资产减记得调整后每股盈余为33美分，去年同期则为1.11美元。根据Thomson Reuters的调查，分析师平均预估该公司第四季营收为21.9亿美元，调整后每股盈余的预估为44美分。
纽蒙特矿业第四季黄金产量较上年同期的130万盎司增加至140万盎司，铜产量则是增加9%至3,800万磅。平均销售金价与铜价分别为每盎司1,267美元与每磅2.99美元，较上年同期分别下跌25%与7.1%。2013年，该公司黄金产量年增2%至506.5万盎司，今年产量则预期将下滑至460-490万盎司，并预计2015与2016年黄金产量可回升至480-520万之间。纽蒙特矿业2013年铜产量为6,500万磅，今年产量预估将增长至9,500-1.1亿磅，2015年产量可望续增至1.45-1.60亿磅，2016年产量预估为1.25-1.40亿磅。该公司2013年黄金总投入生产成本（All-in sustaining costs, AISC）为每盎司1,104美元，今年AISC成本预估介于每盎司1,075-1,175美元之间，2015年成本预估为950-1,050美元，2016年预估为985-1,085美元。
受到金价下跌的影响，该公司2013年底黄金储量较上年底的9,920万盎司，下调至8,840万盎司，因金价基准由每盎司1,400美元下调至1,300美元。黄金储量代表可以经济开采的黄金资源，金价下跌也就造成黄金储量的减少。加拿大巴瑞克黄金公司（Barrick Gold Corporation）13日也公布该公司黄金储量较一年前的1.4亿盎司减少26%至1.04亿盎司，因该公司将金价基准由一年前的1,500美元下调至1,100美元的影响。
