俄最大黄金生产商推迟金矿投产

据报道,俄罗斯最大黄金生产商极地黄金公司(Polyus Gold)表示,受到金价下跌以及金价前景仍不看好的压力,该公司将推迟一年投产位于俄罗斯远东地区马加丹州(Magadan)的那托卡金矿(Natalka),该矿目前拟定于2015年夏天投产,而非原先所宣布的2014年夏天。
公司声明称,依原定计划在2014年夏天投产该矿完全可行,但考虑到金价可能进一步下跌的前景,因此决定延后一年投产。金价今年以来大跌28%,终结连续12年的多头走势,并且将创下逾30年来的最大年度跌幅,这已伤及许多矿商获利,导致部分矿山项目的建设工作遭放缓或推迟。
那托卡金矿是世界上最大的未开发金矿之一,根据极地黄金公司,该矿黄金储量达3,160万盎司,资源量达5,970万盎司。预计投产初期每年可以处理一千万吨的矿石,以及生产约50万盎司的黄金;待下一阶段将矿石处理能力提高至每年四千万吨,届时黄金年产量可以达到150万盎司。
极地黄金公司2013年上半年黄金产量年增7%至718,000盎司,但黄金销售额年减19%至9.87亿美元,主要受到金价下跌的影响。该公司黄金销售价格较去年上半年的每盎司1,652美元下滑9%至约每盎司1,510美元。极地黄金公司此前表示,公司计划在2013年斥资12亿美元,用于建设那托卡金矿。
极地黄金公司2012年黄金产量年增12%达到创新高的168万盎司,较公司原先所定的年度生产目标还高出5%,2013年黄金产量预估将持续增加至170-180万盎司,除哈萨克资产以外的黄金产量预估为159-168万盎司。
