汇丰控股：中国是今年黄金市场的大卖家

中国是近年黄金市场的大买家，汇丰控股(HSBC Holdings PLC)的分析师James Steel和Howard Wen认为对黄金市场来说，在过去几周价格下跌、对美联储缩减债券购买规模的担忧以及印度黄金短期致使销量减缓的情况下，越来越明显表明中国是黄金在困难中的最好朋友。
汇丰控股在一份报告中说：”中国对黄金的大胃口是黄金市场上看涨黄金的最大理由。”
今年中国可能超过印度成为全球黄金第一大消费国，总消费量预计将超过1000吨。近期数据显示，2013年前9个月，中国大陆自香港进口黄金826吨，是去年同期的两倍。
而中国的”黄金周”则恰好促使很多消费者去香港购买黄金。
Steel和Wen在报告中说：”世界银行和汇丰银行的预计收入都有增长，因此中国将仍是黄金的大买家。”
有行业专家指出，持续增长的中国中产阶级以及他们对黄金的喜好意味着中国的黄金需求增长将是长期的。
不过，即使是中国的黄金行业专家也对今年的黄金消费有所不安，不清楚中国的黄金消费何时达到顶峰，又将维持在什么水平。
中国黄金集团高管层说：”对黄金的胃口不会长期维持，到2014年很可能掉到1000吨水平以下。”报告称这一发言认为今年的黄金消费是”非正常的”，是由今年4月和6月金价大幅下跌所带动的。
Steel在报告中说：”如果中国对黄金的需求在2014年减缓，印度的实物需求没有恢复，西方国家的投资兴趣也没有恢复，那么黄金价格将承受很大压力。”
黄金ETF在中国的引入引来了很多怀疑，世界黄金协会(WGC)认为这一方面是因为这个市场交易基础设施还不够成熟，并且中国的投资者更倾向于实物拥有金币或金条。
中国同时也是全球第一大黄金生产国，今年黄金产量预计超过400吨。
