金价下跌 金矿商将面临更多资产减记

彭博社10月25日报导，世界第五大黄金生产商、澳洲最大金矿商纽克雷斯特矿业（Newcrest Mining Limited）将于12月退休的董事长Don Mercer表示，如果金价进一步下跌的话，金矿商将会面临更多的资产减记。2013财年，该公司净损57.8亿澳元（53.2亿美元），为2002年以来首度出现年度亏损，主要因为金价下跌导致62亿澳元的资产减记的影响。彭博社的统计显示，自今年7月以来，全球金矿商所宣布的资产减记总共约达260亿美元。高盛集团（Goldman Sachs Group Inc.）商品研究主管库里（Jeffrey Currie）则预期明年金价还将下跌，高盛对2014年底的金价预估为每盎司1,050美元。Newcrest表示，2014财年的平均金价需在1,450澳元，该公司所有矿场才可望有正现金流量或是损益两平。
Newcrest上周（10月17日）公布的季度生产报告符合公司在7月份所作的预估。该公司截至九月的上季黄金产量年增27%至586,573盎司，但较前季减少9%；铜产量年增6%至19,632公吨，但较前季减少14%；总生产成本为每盎司1,093澳元（1,001美元），较截至6月底的2013财年略低，平均销售金价为每盎司1,442澳元。
全球市值最大的金矿商加拿大黄金公司（Goldcorp Inc.）（TSX: G, NYSE: GG）10月24日公布，2013年第三季营收较去年同期的12.8亿美元，下滑至9.29亿美元，低于Thomson Reuters调查分析师平均预估的11.1亿美元，主要因为同期金价下跌约21%的影响。该公司同时宣布对墨西哥的Penasquito矿提列20亿美元的资产减记。
