高盛：债务得到解决 贵金属价格将暴跌

高盛集团(Goldman Sachs)曾认为：一旦华盛顿财政危机得到解决，黄金以及其他贵金属的价格将呈“倾泻式”暴跌。然而，美国两党顺利通过上调债务上限并结束政府关门，而黄金却飙涨。
高盛大宗商品研究团队周五(10月18日)对此解释称，“本周美国国会通过的议案包括为政府注资至明年1月15日，并上调债务上限至明年2月7日，很明显这只是短期的解决方式，华盛顿财政危机还远未得到解决。同时，鉴于这样的一个情况，预计美联储也将推迟缩减QE规模的时间表。”
该团队主管Jeffrey Currie周五在写给客户的邮件中这样写道：
我们正等待更多经济数据来确定美国经济复苏的情况以及美联储缩减QE的可能性，不过目前美国财政危机仍未得到解决，这也暗示美联储可能推迟缩减QE的时间表。综合来看，现在还不是做空黄金的好时机。
目前金价已重回美国债务上限谈判开始前的水平，同时我们预计在这样的情况下美联储短期不会缩减QE，因此我们的策略观点较上周有所改变。不过，我们认为决定未来金价走势的关键因素是此后公布的一系列重要经济数据，因为这将反应美国经济复苏的状况。所以，我们仍预计金价将在年底触及我们短期1300美元/盎司的价格目标。
近期我们的经济学家预计2014年美国经济将逐步转好，暗示美联储可能在明年开始缩减QE(也可能是今年12月、明年3月或6月)，同时美元将走强而新兴市场货币将走低。我们依然维持2014年1050美元/盎司的金价预期不变。
