印度一周内恢复进口 可望提振国际金价

《路透社》周一（19日）报导，印度黄金交易商表示，待央行进一步说明规范细节后，预计一周内就会恢复黄金进口；此举可望缓解该国黄金供应与价格紧绷的窘境。
印度是全球最大黄金消费国，而该国每年需求最高的婚礼与庆典旺季，即将于下个月揭幕。
观察家也认为，印度恢复黄金进口有助进一步支撑金价；历经 3 个多月下跌后，国际金价本月上旬展开反弹，上周五来到每盎司 1377 美元，为 2 个月高点。
印度政府为缓和经常帐赤字扩大的压力，7 月下旬开始大幅调高黄金进口门坎，只允许进口商将黄金出售给珠宝商，而且必须保证每批进口黄金中的 20% 将用于再出口；因细节相当繁复，许多贸易商当下选择暂时全面停止进口。
上周印度央行针对这项规定，进一步订出施行细节，业内人士估计，银行等黄金进口商厘清细节后就会恢复进口。
印度黄金珠宝交易协会主任 Bachhraj Bamalwa 表示，已经与多家进口商接触过，预计一周内就会重启进口。
他同时估计，一旦恢复进口，印度珠宝商支付银行的黄金溢价费也可望从目前的每盎司 40 美元，大幅下滑至 10 美元。
事实上印度政府为抑制黄金进口，过去 8 个月已 3 度调高进口关税至 10% 历史高点。
但分析师也提醒，此举或许能压低进口但却无法抑制需求，受先前国际金价重挫的刺激，许多印度人急着抢买黄金，反倒助长了黑市与走私活动。
