印度扩大黄金进口禁令
印度央行(Reserve Bank of India)周二发布公告称，将限制贸易机构通过延期付款计划进口黄金，此举旨在抑制黄金的投机性购买活动。黄金投机已导致印度的经常项目赤字扩大。
印度只允许通过少数银行和部分国有及私营贸易机构进口黄金。印度央行已于5月中旬禁止银行通过延期付款计划进口黄金。
公告称，上述决定即日生效。根据新规，黄金进口商必须提前支付所有进口费用。不过黄金首饰进口商不受新规限制，仍可通过少量保证金进口黄金。

印度民众5月买进162吨黄金，至少是通常水平的两倍。购金热潮开始于4月全球金价大跌之后。印度央行上次于5月13日采取遏制购金举措。
印度今年以来月均进口黄金104吨，超过2011年创下的纪录水平，给政府造成不安。政府原希望1月将黄金进口税上调五成至6%的举措能抑制需求。
印度财政部长齐丹巴南周一称黄金进口必需得到控制，印度央行此次迅速行动，扩大了5月禁令的范围，覆盖到除了用于制造出口珠宝外的全部黄金进口。
金价周二下挫逾1%，因市场担心需求遭到冲击。
行业专家预测6月印度黄金进口大减。法国兴业银行[-0.93% 资金 研报]资深分析师Robin Bhar说，6月进口量可能介于50至100吨，而孟买黄金协会认为会跌到30到40吨。
“将出现黄金短缺…进口会暂时放缓，除非金价突然大跌，”该协会主管Harmesh Arora表示。
