两大因素支撑英镑，但多头仍不可掉以轻心
因投资者权衡首次在印度发现的新型毒株可能会推迟6月21日英国封锁措施的解除，英镑兑美元在周二早些时候一度触及1.4250美元的三年新高随后回落。周三，对疫情的担忧有所降温，英镑兑美元持坚。然而多头却依然面临通胀带来的压力。
两大因素支撑英镑
荷兰国际集团首席EMEA外汇和IR策略师Petr Krpata称，由于担心新冠疫情在英国蔓延，投资者已变得更加谨慎。 Krpata表示：”对印度变异毒株扩散的担忧，以及6月21日全面解除封锁的计划延迟的风险，再次打压英镑。”
不过，周二，英国已经连续28天内没有新的新冠肺炎死亡病例记录，这是2020年3月以来的首次。这让人们对于英国解除封锁措施的乐观情绪升温，推动英镑兑美元反弹。
上周，英镑在英国央行政策制定者维列杰Gertjan Vlieghe的讲话中找到了支撑。维列杰表示，英国央行在今年内不会考虑加息。但他指出，如果经济反弹速度快于预期，央行可能会将加息的时间提前至2022年。
通胀风险不可忽略
英镑是今年十国集团(G10)中表现最好的货币，在英国实施快速疫苗接种计划后，全球投资者对英国的乐观情绪令英镑受益。不过在经济复苏的同时，通胀担忧也再度浮现。英国零售商报告称，商品价格跌幅已经缩减至疫情爆发以来最低，部分原因是随着封锁放松，购物者消费活动剧增，预计价格压力在2021年剩余时间里可能会进一步上升。
同时，随着英国5月份开始第三阶段的重新开业，允许在酒吧和餐馆室内用餐，包括采购经理调查在内的经济指标都在上升。英国央行副行长拉姆斯登(Dave Ramsden)表示，央行正在密切关注英国繁荣的房地产市场。虽然英镑兑美元有望扭转跌势，但投资者仍应关注疫情及通胀的进一部发展。
