通胀押注令股市大跌，美联储安抚市场
在周三（5月12日）的亚洲盘时段，现货黄金持稳于1736附近。周二金价探底回升，日图微涨0.08%，美债收益率的上涨抵消了美元下跌带来的支撑。
美股三大股指均收跌
美国股市周二收低，因大宗商品价格上涨和劳动力短缺加剧了人们的担忧，尽管美联储做出保证，但短期价格急升仍可能转化为长期通胀。
大田环球分析师表示：“今天感觉就像是补跌，本月迄今科技股一直疲软，这种疲态终于蔓延到了市场的其他板块，我们看到了更广泛的疲软。”
他称：“对通胀的担忧仍在继续，供应链问题，再加上创纪录的刺激措施，再加上劳动力市场明显趋紧，都加剧了人们对通胀可能在夏季几个月走高的担忧。我认为市场不会相信美联储要到2023年之后才会升息的说辞，这可能是市场和美联储看法不一致的地方。”
道指下跌1.36%，为2月26日以来最大跌幅，标普500指数下跌0.87%，纳指下跌0.09%。股市大跌令恐慌指数暴涨11.09%至21.84，显示市场风险情绪大幅降温，对避险黄金利多。
美联储官员认为讨论减码宽松为时过早
多位美联储官员认为，美国经济处于复苏的道路上，但仍面临风险，讨论减码货币政策支持仍然为时过早。
美联储理事布雷纳德在周二的讲话中表示：“前景是光明的，但风险仍然存在，我们离目标还很远，重要的是保持耐心，专注于实现美联储政策指引中设定的充分就业和通胀率目标。”
克利夫兰联储主席梅斯特、旧金山联储主席戴利、费城联储主席哈克、亚特兰大联储主席博斯蒂克和圣路易斯联储主席布拉德也发表了类似的观点，反击了对于美联储近零利率和每月购买1200亿美元资产正在引发金融市场过热和未来通货膨胀的批评。
哈克表示：“虽然经济形势正在改善，但复苏尚未完成，没有理由收回政策支持，”并补充说在就业市场可持续地摆脱疫情冲击变得更明朗之前，讨论减码宽松还为时过早。
布拉德也持相同的观点。“现在在这里谈论缩减购债还为时过早，即使多少能看到疫情尽头了。我们还没到那儿。我们必须全力以赴直到最后。”
美联储维持宽松货币将继续推升市场对通胀的担忧情绪，令金价受益。
