美国经济确实非常需要另一轮刺激措施，不仅因为失业率保持在高位，而且疫情反扑威胁着经济进一步复苏。但美国参议院多数党领袖麦康奈尔上周表示，参议院现在的工作重点是在特朗普总统第一任期仅剩下几周的时间内确认大法官巴雷特的提名。
如果威胁到总统对大法官巴雷特提名的确认，进而影响共和党对司法部的控制，参议院将不会花任何时间讨论制定刺激计划。刺激计划迟迟无法落地，不利于黄金真正开启升势。
